When a member of staff has a concern about a student or when a student discloses something to a member of staff the following steps must be taken:
- Download and complete the child protection referral form.
- Email the form to Jonathan Walker and “cc” Sharon Kiely
- Ensure to let Jonathan Walker and Sharon Kiely know that the form has been sent.
ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF MUST FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THE CHILD PROTECTION PROCEDURES AND THE RINGSEND CHILD PROTECTION POLICY. THE POLICY IS EMAILED TO ALL STAFF IN LATE AUGUST AND THERE ARE HARD COPIES IN THE MAIN OFFICE, WORKROOM AND STAFFROOM.
